This is a nice toaster oven and is nice for broiling, toasting, and also for heating up food. The one thing about it is that the metal tray could be at least one inch wider. This would still allow heat to get up around the sides.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not working

I had this even for 1 year amd then it stopped working. The only setting that is working is toast grillage. Not happy it stopped working after the warranty expires.

Why doesn't this work?

Sorry, but this oven didn't even heat up despite my following the directions. Put in a pan of brownie batter -- took it out after the designated time and it was still raw. I have no way to figure out why it didn't cook.
I've had numerous Black and Decker applances and even another table top oven that worked for years and years. This one is a dud.

Timer stops

I have toasted and baked in this oven and it has worked fine up until the timer now stops before finishing. The heating elements stay on so it can burn whatever is in the oven if you are not watching. Is there a fix for the timer? It is only about a year since I bought the oven because of good reviews and have so far been pleased with it.

versatility is its best feature

My experience with the product has been nothing but good.
It toasts bread(including bagels and English muffins) with ease
and speed, and switches to chicken breasts and hamburgers
with ease.

Burning?

I bought this oven a little over a year ago and liked to use it for smaller items. However, a few months ago I turned it on to warm up something and it smelled like plastic burning. (I had nothing plastic in the oven). I don't know what the smell was but I was afraid to use it again until i tried just one more time last week. Again, it smelled like burning plastic. I am not happy at all.

Glass exploded on first use.

We bought this toaster a few weeks ago. My teenage son used it for the first time last night and the glass door exploded.

Verified Purchase:Yes
1) The wire ribs on the slide rack are too far apart. For some food items this allows them to drop or droop down between the wire ribs. 2) The slide rack also does not have a stop to keep it from being unintentionaly pulled completely out. 3) It does not toast both sides evenly.
Other than these minor issues I am satisfied with the product.
