I have used this camera on 2 vacations ,and continue to be amazed at the clarity of pictures that I am getting from a moving bus.Additionally, the no flash feature which is mandatory in most museums has given me excellent results.A friend of mine who is an excellent photographer,has commented on my recent pictures and said some are worthy of professional status.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wonderful camera

Have been wanting a DSLR for a couple of years and after researching the best camera with features I can grow into and become a better amateur photographer This is the camera. It has more wonderful features than any other camera at this price.
Pros: Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, Superior build quality, Simple controls/menu, easy to use

Step-up in my Next Canon Camera

Great step-up from my XTI which I gave to my brother with 2 Canon Lenses, the 18-55IS and a 28-135IS lens. Bought an after market Battery Grip and have two batteries in it, plus 6 AA Batteries in the spare carrier. Stills are amazing up from 10.6 Megapixils. I also wanted to use my existing lenses so I did not go full sized sensor. Also did not want to spend 2X to get a T4i as the T3i is really awsome. As a Lifetime Canon Shooter (going back to the AE1) I really like how this series of cameras is going!
Pros: good battery life, Quick Start-up time, excellent image quality, Superior build quality, Bright LCD, Simple controls/menu, easy to use

This has been a great camera

Birthday present to myself over two years ago. I have had a lot of cameras starting with a box Brownie. Of all of my cameras this has been my favorite. Distance, close up, in between the photos are clean and clear. The camera has great balance and as I carry it around in my hand the weight is good. Solid but light weight. Thank you Canon for a great product.

I have been using my T3i for a few years now and am still learning new things about it regularly. I absolutely LOVE it. I definitely needed a zoom lens for it -- was my first purchase after getting the camera. I love that my family can also use it in AUTO mode if need be. I love the flip out screen for reviewing my photos or if we use the self-timer option!! I keep post-it notes for some settings jotted down for quick reference in that hidden area as well. :) I take portraits, nature scenes and sporting events and have no complaints about the way the camera works. I LOVE my Canon -- I have 3 other Canons and the quality of their product is phenomenal! Wouldn't own any other brand! ♥
Pros: Superior build quality, Super-sharp images, flip- out screen

One of my top purchases

I purchased my EOST3i in June 2011 . I immediately began using this camera wherever I went . In mid-June I went on vacation and covered a wedding . This camera took brilliant pics day and night . Everyone raved at the clarity .

WOW, My first SLR

Excellent DOF results on this all around camera. Ability to use right out of box with information on each dial you set camera to. In my opinion this camera works it's best in manual control settings. The results you get will blow your mind. Also love the digital zoom effects. I've taken a sample picture outdoors on a half dead shriveled up flower, you would never know it. I ended up blowing this up to a 13' by 19' and placed on my living room wall. (Great job Canon).

This product does an excellent work in taking pictures! Very good quality, easy user interface, easy controls. Anyone can pick this up and learn fast. Fun and easy to use. Excellent in taking videos as well. Clear microphone feedback and recording.
