so far, the camera has been a Joy to use. I wish the sensor was a tad less noisy, and the batteries lasted a bit longer... but I am very happy with the acquisition of this camera. the movable LCD screen is totally wicked cool ! it has helped to take my photos up a couple of levels.
Pros: quiet, Nice features/settings, Quick Start-up time, excellent image quality, Superior build quality, Bright LCD, Simple controls/menu, easy to use
Cons: wish batteries lasted longer

Ease of use out of the box

THIS IS NOT MY FIRST CANON BUT IS THE BEST. My CANON T3i was easy to use right out of the box. Features are easy to learn with the book and dial controls are easy to navigate. GREAT Camera for the price when you buy a kit.
Pros: good battery life, Quick Start-up time, excellent image quality, Superior build quality, Bright LCD, Solid Operation, Lightweight/Portable, Simple controls/menu, easy to use
Cons: Missing features/settings, noisy

I love this camera!

It took me a long time to "go digital" and my first digital camera was the PowerShot S3. I have been wanting to upgrade for a while but wasn't sure which DSLR to get - that is until I heard about the Rebel T3i! I couldn't wait to buy it and I am thrilled. It is such a versatile camera and I love the fact that I can shoot RAW. I also bought an accessory that allows me to use my old FD lenses - big plus. If you are looking for a great DSLR at a great price, look no further.

Cons: missing "panorama"

This camera is incredible. The photos are excellent and the video quality is great. A wide array of features, plus the vari-angle screen and a lens included makes this camera a great choice for amateurs and enthusiasts alike! Amateurs especially will love this as it has an easy to read features guide, making this one of the easiest to use camera I have ever bought. If there are any other questions you have, just refer to the manual and its all there! Great camera! Highly recommended!
