The Canon Rebel EOS T3i is probably the best camera I have ever used, it's easy and simple to use. I love the fact that I have something to hold on to. I love the bulkiness to it, I have tried the T2i and I can proudly say I prefer the T3i !
Pros: good battery life, quiet, Nice features/settings, Quick Start-up time, excellent image quality, Superior build quality, Bright LCD, Simple controls/menu
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great camera

This is the 5th Canon camera I have owned, my first was an AE1 from many years ago then an A1 which was my favorite until now. It is so simple to use my wife can easily use it and take great pictures. Not using film is a plus so you can print only the pictures you want and save the rest on the computer. It works great for action shots and is a great camera for portraits and scenery. I love this camera.
Pros: good battery life, Nice features/settings, Quick Start-up time, excellent image quality, Bright LCD, Solid Operation, Simple controls/menu, easy to use
I would recommend this to a friend!

BEST DSLR FOR THE PRICE

I bought that camera to replace my T1i and I must say I made a very good choice. It's probably the most advance DSLR I saw on the market, and it's simple to use.I mainly used it for family pic and people that need professionnal photographer.I am not a pro but the T3i gave me the confindence to achieve crispy and clear photo.the battery life is good but it depends on the type of lens you are working with.my EF 70-200 usm is the one I am using all the time and that drains the battery.except that I got nothing to complain about and I recommend that to anyone out there moving from point and shoot camera to a more advanced and professionnal. Good J-O-B and well done Canon
Pros: good battery life, Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, Superior build quality, Bright LCD, Simple controls/menu, easy to use
Cons: Short battery life

A Good Camera, a wise choice

brings to the table a tool that is very good. it has lifted my photos up a level or two. Wishlist for future firmware upgrades would be faster video frame-rates, lower signal to noise ratio and the ability to adjust the focus point in the camera to various lenses.( like the 5DMKII ) other than that it is now my primary camera and my 450D is my backup.
Pros: quiet, Nice features/settings, Quick Start-up time, excellent image quality, Bright LCD, Solid Operation, Simple controls/menu, easy to use, on sale
Cons: Missing features/settings, battery life not as good as my xsi

Just a great camera. I used a Canon AE-1 in the '80s/'90s, Canon Powershots during the '00s, and upgraded to this camera in early 2012.
PIctures are nice and sharp. At almost four frames per second, it's great for taking pictures of moving objects such as trains. There are also lot of features to keep me busy for a long time.
This is my Christmas/birthday/Father's Day present for the next five years - well worth it!
Pros: Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, Superior build quality, Solid Operation, programmable

This is an awesome camera!!!

This camera was really easy to use right out of the box. The pictures all are great quality. Although I mostly use it on Auto, I also use the macro and the sport mode. I am determined to learn to use it on Manual some day, but in the mean time, I do really well without it. I won't be outgrowing it soon. I also have the 55-300 lens that I am very, very happy with. I mostly use the camera for wildlife, and am very happy with the speed. The tutorial CD that came with it is a little on the fast side and being over 60 the downloading software took a while for me to learn. I don't usually do much with my finished photos besides cropping, but the one feature that has come in handy is the way you can straighten the horizon. I am so happy with this camera and have just convinced a collegue to buy one of his own.
Pros: quiet, Nice features/settings, Quick Start-up time, excellent image quality, Superior build quality, Bright LCD, Solid Operation, Simple controls/menu, easy to use, it has a viewfinder

The only problem this camera has is white balance performance in low light that is artificial. It tends to favor orange reddish tones.
Pros: good battery life, quiet, Quick Start-up time, excellent image quality, Superior build quality, Bright LCD, Solid Operation, Lightweight/Portable, Simple controls/menu, easy to use
Cons: Missing features/settings, white balance
