Built-in flash is a problem

Built in flash did not take too long to show its true colors. This is an issue Canon has known for 10 years (based on some searches/researches/user opinions) that is still unfixed. have had the camera for only 9 months. used the flash even less due to my interest with nature-scape photography. the camera flash is not responding at all.
Pros: good battery life
Cons: Poor build quality, flash continues to be a problem
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This a super body for Macro Studies in the field.
My only complaint is that in the Macro Mode you have to push the exposure button halfway to be able to view the subject each time you want to view and shoot.

I often have photography jobs, and I use this specific body for almost all of them. The camera is easy to use, compared to most. Its been over a year and I have had no problems, no broken buttons, no failures in features. It still works as thought I just bought it. Easy to add attachments, and easy to remove lenses. Recommended for a beginner or an expert!

I would definitely recommend this camera. Easy to change sets...with dials! Question or support is only a phone call away.
Pros: nice and light., video flip out screen
Cons: no image stabilization

This camera has been wonderful. I have two young children and I have gotten far more and far better pictures of them using this camera than I did through the 9 different professional photo sessions we've had. (Adding up the cost of those photo shoots, this camera is a much better bargain as well!) So far I have only used the lens that came with the kit, but I am currently in the market for a new lens which is why I logged on at the website today. It is a great camera for anyone hoping to get more than just point and shoot out of their photos, although it does that well too!

Too bad the software doesn't work.

I might be a lot happier if the software I spent 30 minutes installing on my Macintosh (EOS Utility) worked instead of telling me, right out of the box, that "Cannot be used with this version of the operating system."
On the other hand, maybe the software isn't as good as Graphic Converter, so I wouldn't be any happier.
Cons: software is out of date.
