After using this camear for only a short time I am so impressed I cant wait to use it again. The picture quality is amazing and very easy to use. It has all the adjustments and features I could ever want, but if you set it on the auto setting it takes great pictures. THe only thing I would change, is that I wouls like the body to be heavier to balance the 300mm lens I use.
Pros: picture qualtiy

My very first digital SLR

This was my very first digital SLR and I am completely satisfied. It is very user friendly and takes excellent photos. As an amateur, I was able to use this camera right out of the box with minimal prep. The on-screen menu options cover everything needed to create a wide variety of shots. The video feature practically eliminates the need for a separate video camera.

Nice starter camera

I've owned this camera for 5 months now. It's my first DSLR and Canon has hit spot on with this one. The price is just right and the low-end lenses,(by price only because the 55-200 EFS can take some great photos), make this a great camera for a hobbyist like me. You won't be disappointed.

Great Addition

Having used this camera for a month now I am very pleased. Owning a 7D and 50D I wanted something light weight. I do not believe in the label "entry level"...This is a perfect camera to just carry around and enjoy. Only issue is the same as with any LCD. Very hard to see in sunlight.
Pros: Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, Lightweight/Portable, easy to use, nice placements of controls
Cons: lcd hard to see in sunlight

Moving from Rebel XT, T3I is a significant upgrade, resolution, features, picture quality. No problems for pro as well amatures. This is a superb machine for tsking all kinds of pictures. In it's price range it was number one choice for me, Adding video with manipulations is just unreal. Simple wireless flash and use of all Canon's flashes and lenses easly let you do pro shots. The only thing i see as negative is less than 4fts. Other manufacturers offer a lot quicker. My Rebel XT was used for 8 years by me, sold in perfect condition. I hope my T3I will be as good
Pros: good battery life, quiet, Nice features/settings, Quick Start-up time, excellent image quality, Superior build quality, Bright LCD, Solid Operation, fantastic
Cons: slow 3.7fts

The Canon T3I is a great, sturdy built camera. For my use's as a photoaghy student in High school it has the ability to out perform almost every other camera. As a hobbie, I go and photograph trains in almost any type of weather, from 100 degree weather down to the low 20's, this camera has proved to me that it is worth the price. I am glad to use a canon.
Pros: good battery life, quiet, Quick Start-up time, excellent image quality, Superior build quality, Solid Operation, Lightweight/Portable, Simple controls/menu, easy to use
