Its so easy to use. Ive had this camera for a year now and it still amazes me. Im always finding cool new things I can do with it just by playing with the different features. I recieved this camera for my 16th Birthday and I started to use it immediately without even reading the manual. It takes amazing pictures, its fast and easy. Wherever I take it people are always surprised on how great the pictures are. Im always getting asked if im a professional photographer because of this camera!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT.
Pros: good battery life, quiet, Nice features/settings, Quick Start-up time, excellent image quality, Superior build quality, Bright LCD, Solid Operation, Simple controls/menu, easy to use
Cons: Heavy/Bulky

I love my Cannon sooooo much that I don't leave home without it!!! I have The Cannon Rebel T3 and I have taken a class so that I am able to use every feature. It was so easy once I Played with it and my pictures look so professional. I will never be caught on a photo studio again, that's how good my shots have become!!! The one dislike I had was the price but I got it as a gift and it was well worth the wait. I am gonna get my husband one so he can leave mine alone!!!!
Pros: good battery life, quiet, Nice features/settings, Quick Start-up time, excellent image quality, Superior build quality, Lightweight/Portable, Simple controls/menu
Cons: Dim LCD

This camera has been my life for the past year and it truly is an amazing camera. There are few thing that i would change, but one of them is the processor, the Digic 4 processor does a does a very good job as long as you stay at an ISO of 800 or less, anything above becomes overly noisy.
The camera has put up to a lot of use sense I bought it, and has lasted extremely well. One thing that i would say is necessary to get is a battery grip, it is a very useful add on that will improve your experience with the camera. The flip out screen has been a very useful feature good in many situations.
Another amazing feature is the External Flash function, Absolutely Incredible, It will increase your creative pictures by leaps and bounds, by being able to incorporate the unique lighting into your pictures.
The image Quality is outstanding, especially when coupled with one of Canon's L-series lenses, the auto-focus is descent with a standard lens, but is impeccable with the L-series lens, as well.
The camera is an incredible beginner camera, and if you want to push the limits of your ability's then it is also extremely capable with keeping up, and will carry you in to what ever type of photography you would like.
Pros: good battery life, Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, Solid Operation
Cons: the digic 4 processor high noise at iso 800+

I bought the T3I after my grandson was born to take pictures of him. that has lead me to bring the camera to different events. After posting pics on Face Book so may of my friends have used my pics for their profile pic. That has even lead me to do two small weddings. So many people tell me how great my pictures are. If you buy this camera with a little online training you will be surprised how great your pictures will be. Trust me, if I can do it anyone can. This is the camera to buy if you are just starting out and want to make great pics.
Pros: good battery life, excellent image quality

Love my Canon

I have owned my T3i since Dec. 2011 and love it. It has allowed me to learn tons of things about photography and DSLRs. I have three good lens's now and the images are awesome. I shot lots of wildlife with a 100 - 400L lens and the results are stunning. I did tons of research prior to buying and was not disappointed at all. I only wish it had a faster FPS speed, but that will come when I eventually upgrade. When I do, the T3i goes nowhere but stays as my second. It's more than an entry DSLR, it's all I really needed, until I became consumed by the the bug!
Pros: Nice features/settings, Quick Start-up time, excellent image quality, Bright LCD, Lightweight/Portable, easy to use

Cannon t3i

I was "raised" on a Reble 2000 film camera and hating change, FINALLY went digital. Started with a great "point & shoot, which taught me the basics. I do pet & nature photography so needed more. After checking MANY cameras I choose the Cannon t3i. (Body only) Has all I need!!! Best of all, I can use the Cannon supersonic lens's I used on my Reble 2000. (Saved greatly) It has so many features that at first it was a little over whelming. After sitting, reading and just "playing" with this camera I learned quickly. I only bought this camera about a month ago, so still learning. I have taken BEAUTIFUL pictures. Cats, dogs, a rainbow that is out of this world. I think you get the message, <smile>.
The only fault I find is it is a little on the heavy side. Again, the more I use it, I'm getting used to it. Also, the battery life isn't as long as I would like as I need the higher megapixels. Going to buy another battery and should be fine.
All in all, it's a GREAT camera and would recommend it.
Pros: Nice features/settings, Quick Start-up time, excellent image quality, Bright LCD, itimidaing at first but learing quickly
Cons: Short battery life

I was a formally trained photographer in the Marine Corps in the early 90's and I got away from it for awhile after I left. The T3i has been a great tool to help me re-learn photography.
Pros: good battery life, quiet, Nice features/settings, Quick Start-up time, excellent image quality, Superior build quality, Bright LCD, Solid Operation, Lightweight/Portable, Simple controls/menu, easy to use

Excellent all around DSLR

Having always been interested in photography as an amateur, I've owned several point and shoot cameras, and I've owned some film cameras. I have taken some amateur photography courses, and I had great success with my Canon Rebel 35mm film camera. When it came time to buy a DSLR, I talked to several professionals and visited a few camera shops. I also read a number of reviews. It was clear to me, given the feedback and service I've had with past Canon products, that the Rebel 3ti was the way to go. It takes phenomenal pictures for the price, and it has a broad array of setting and accessories that allow even a professional photographer to achieve the most desirable results. It does take a while to learn all of the menus and settings. Another win for Canon!
Pros: quiet, Quick Start-up time, easy to use, good battery life, Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, Superior build quality, Bright LCD, Solid Operation
Cons: Complicated controls/menu
