Love the Design & Features, questionable longevity

This refrigerator perfectly replaced our old refrigerator. We love the layout and design - in general it has been a great refrigerator for us. We definitely like the bottom freezer and French doors.
One strange design aspect - the interior drawers require both doors to be open in order to slide them out. If only one door is open, the drawer will hit the other door.
We have had this model refrigerator for 2 1/2 years now. Our first refrigerator failed in two weeks (quickly and easily fixed under warranty), and our second refrigerator had a component go out after just over two years (also reasonably easily fixed).
We like it for it's features, but it has not provided years and years of trouble-free service.
Pros: nice design
Cons: needed repair
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
