Epson 8350

I have had the projector for about one week, awesome picture. Purchased because I liked the blend of brightness and contrast compared to other projectors (8100 and the Optoma HD). Easy horizontal and vertical shift to get the picture just right. Quiet, can hear in low audio points in movies but not distracting. Would recommend.

Epson Powerline 8350 Projector

I have been using the projector for two weeks and very happy so far. The image and color are excellent. After adjusting the color to 7500K, Epson Superwhite and auto iris, the picture seems better. The fan noise is low and not noticeable during a movie play. The lamp take a few seconds to kick in (when turn on) but it's ok. This is my second projector from the old one Infocus IN-72 and realy happy for this upgrade. Highly recommend.

Epson 8350 Review

This projector has a great picture. The picture really "pops". I am very happy with the projector. I had a different projector that I had purchased 4-5 years ago.
This projector has a much nicer picture than my previous projector. When I temporarily placed the projector on a Tv tray to see if I wanted to keep it... It didn't take long before I was removing my old projector from its ceiling mount, and was mounting this projector in its place.
Here are some of the features that I love about this projector (and no I don't work for Epson :)
* Very reasonably priced
* Beautiful picture (bright, very good color, good contrast)
* Plenty of lumens to produce a wonderful picture with some ambient light
* Fast startup
* Many adjustmsnt options (though great out of the box)
* Very flexible screen placement adjustments.
* Many input options
Thanks Epson for providing a great product.

I had an older projector and needed a replacement badly. I did some research and found the Epson 8350 while surfing the internet, i went to a couple of forums. There were so many positive posts that i had no problem at all at making a decision on which Projector i should purchase. I have had the PJ for about one week now and all i can say is, it takes you to a whole new level of Video performance and above average brightness when you need it. The picture quality is what i expect from Epson and the machine itself is quiet and easy to setup. Thanks again Epson for a great product.

I was impressed with this item right out of the box. The picture is totally Awesome. I was so glad I found another LCD projector. I replaced a 720 p LCD projector and I was afraid id have to go to a DLP with it's rainbow effects. I started out with a DLP 6 years ago. I first was surprised how big this projector is. the lens cap is very heavy duty and big also. once i got a blu-ray playing through it i thought"This Is it"!! I watched "The Dark Knight" and it looked better than when i saw it in the theater.The details were fantastic for the dark movie that it is. And the machine is oh so quiet. It seemed like i was watching a 92 in HDTV. I'm thinking of getting a larger screen now down the road. The features are easy to use and find too if you need to fine tune and tweek your picture.This projector is tops for the money!!

This projector offers excellent value for money. Setup straight out of the box is logical, simple and is adaptable to any reasonable location relative to the screen. The clear instructions for using the internal lens positioning system makes it easy to achieve a "squared up" image that fits the screen, first time. Movies either in colour or black and white are free of all the things you don't want like grain, smear and washout. Even in quite a well lit room the contrasts remain solid. It's almost silent too. The remote control has good sized buttons for large fingers and if needed will glow in the dark in a way that actually allows it to be read! The controls are arranged such that anyone who has ever used a DVD recorder or VCR (remember those?!) will find this simplicity itself to operate. For the individual inclined to fine tuning this piece of gear, the options for adjustment of colour, contrast and light level, picture sharpness etc are all there. Any individual setting can be memorized by the projector and recalled when wanted. Having said that, I haven't found it necessary to use anything but the settings provided by the maker. There are probably projectors out there that will do things that this one doesn't but unless you are working to a movie theatre and don't mind spending a LOT more money, this quiet, user friendly, high performance projector is a winner.
