Without purchasing an Epson product for quite a few years, I was naturally a bit apprehensive about getting a semi big ticket item like the 8350. I purchased it at a reasonable price and was very impressed with the easy setup menu, design and the beautiful colors and sharp images this projector produced. For the price and the quality you cant go wrong. The only negative is the life of the lamp(it actually only lasted about half the time of it's estimated 4000 hours); However we watch quite a few movies and the lamp did last for almost 2 years. If Epson could extend the lamp life a bit more this projector gets 5 stars!!!

Amazing projector

I've had this projector for almost two years now and it is hands down the best investment I ever made in an entertainment system. For half the price of most large screen TV's I have a literal movie theater that allows me to watch movies on the 15 foot projector screen I built for high definition films. I have used this from gaming consoles to HDTV and bluray movies and there simply is no other experience like it! The 8350 is one heck of a projector and has impressed countless friends who aftrrwards went out to purchase this same model. The picture quality is sharp and extremely enjoyable. I recommend this projector to anyone wanting a starter high definition high end projector

I recientlyu bought a home with an apatment over the garage. About 900 sf. It was perfect for a "Man Cave" we have been planning to put a large screen TV in the space when I began to look at prjoectors. After a lot of research I decided on the Epson 8350. I could not be more pleased with the picture and ease of installation. The install was not for a rookie but not difficult if you are handy with your hands. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to use a projector for intertainment. By the way "Roll Tide" It's football season! Let the Tide and good times roll!

I did a lot of extensive research online in user forums, popular retail store reviews, and user feedback on avid home theater system communities to come up with the decision to buy the Epson 8350. I am glad I did because I found the perfect projector for my home theater. Not only is the picture quality outstanding, but the functionality and ease of use is simply stunning. I have yet to mount the projector in my ceiling, but I know it will be quite easy with the lens shift feature allowing almost 2x screen height adjustments. The only complaint I have about this projector is that the lens shift controls have a tendency to "shift" over time due to gravity or bass rumble / shaking. If Epson had implemented a lens shift lock, this projector would out class even projectors at a higher price bracket. Stop sitting on your hands and get this projector.

I have been using my Epson projector 8350 sometime now. The picture quality which is normally great was not showing a quality picture for about 2-3 weeks and then suddenly the projector would not show any picture. I called tech support and told them my issue. It took about 30mins, I explained my situation and they shipped my a new lamp for my projector. Very easy to replace and install. The hassle free and quick response experience was terrific. Well done.
