OK ref. the ice maker is one of the slowest I have seen. Takes forever and yes the freezer temp is set low enough.

I bought this rfrigerator almost a yr. ago. i;m a diabetic and keep insulin in my fridge, my old fridge had one temp. BAD. Now my insulin is good.

GE Refrigerator

Owned the unit for about 3 months now. The unit looks great but it is very noisy. After about 2 months, the door seal came off and we had to push is back into the clip; not a big deal.
It keeps the food cold and the ice maker works great.

Bought this 1 yr ago. The handles are not attached very well , plus u need a special cleaner to keep stainless looking good,all in all for the price u can't complain u get what u pay for.

Ok fridge

Came with my new house. Works fine, but is the LOUDEST APPLIANCE I've ever heard--consistent, loud, really irritating, especially at night. Shelves also seem a little week and awkwardly shaped/sized.

I bought this model in July and so far I'm happy with it. It is a bit noisy, however
it is in my kitchen so I don't hear it when I'm sleeping or through the rest of the house. The drawers do not slide out easily, but I'm looking for a remedy for that.
GE could provide a better owners manual than what I was provided. The last GE
refrigerator I purchased was in 1974 and it was still operating great when I replaced
it with the current one. 40 years!!!!!!

Perfect size for my space!

I bought this model because it was the most energy efficient of what I could fit in my space. It works fine. My only complaint is that when the compressor is running, it is fairly loud. Fortunately it only runs for a few minutes at a time and then it is silent for quite awhile.
I would recommend this to a friend!
