Great just want the latest finger scanner leave it 6.3 or go 6.5 just not so heavy
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, screen size
Cons: a little to heavy, no message or pictures locks

I have the AT&T Mega 6.3 variant running Kit Kat 4.4.2. The Mega's ace card is its gorgeous 6.3 inch 720p HD LCD screen. This phablet will appeal to heavy media consumers. Movies, games and ebooks are a pure joy on this phone. And texting too is full-screen fun. The phone is surprisingly light. It is not the fastest phone but isn't trying to be. It has mid-range specs but again this phone's selling point is that giant stunning screen. I flip the phone sideways to landscape mode and use mine every day to play games, catch up on news, or read books and magazines from Google Play or the included Kindle app. I love my Mega and cannot go back to phones with postage-stamp screens. Phablets are the future. Deal with it.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, huge screen

i love my mega 6.3

picked up this mega awhile back and still loving my phone great pic quality and video quality and I just love watching movies on it. wouldn't trade this phone in for nothing. been a Samsung customer for a long time now and still loving Samsung products. got the s3, s4, s5, mega, gear, and a note2 in the household and im looking at there TV's to buy. thanks Samsung for great products.

Bring back the Mega!!!!!!

I agree with an earlier user, Tommy. Samsung should target market this phone to users 45 years old and up. That is when your eyesight starts to decline, and I have had my Mega (1st gen, 6.3") for more than two years, and I LOVE it. I am being forced to upgrade my phone if I change carriers, and am very sad to see Samsung eliminated this phone from their offerings.
Yes, the twenty-and-thirty-somethings laugh at the big size, but 4o-somethings-and-older stop me to ask where they can get one. With this phone, it fits nicely in my purse (and fit nicely in my Dad's shirt pocket or pants pocket, when he bought one), and I have virtually a phone and tablet combined. It sits on the dash for easy navigation when we are on trips, I can surf the Internet without putting on readers, I can read my email/text/play games/skype/call all on ONE device. I haven't needed the expense (purchase and monthly) of a tablet. Don't throw this model away Samsung - the tens of millions of users who bought these 2-3 years ago are looking to buy it again....
For me, I am staying with AT&T only because I don't want to change away from this phone. Any other carrier change requires me to buy new, and I don't like any current phones from any manufacturer better than this. So I will wait, Samsung....
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight, big display, tablet and phone in one, great for eyes aged 45+, good phone quality at ear and on speaker

The Samsung Galaxy Mega is AWESOME!! As I own my business, it is nice to have a phone that can be used as a tablet as well and is easy to use!! I just wish the camera was a little better, but other than that, it's great!! :)

Ive had every possible phone and or big name product out there, up until a year or so ago when Galaxy Note 2 came out and I bought it for the large screen. Loved it but saw the Mega and WOW, it does it all. I have the Galaxy Note 3, 8.0 and now I only use my mega for everything (sorry tablet)
I would highly recomend this to anyone and yes it fits in my pocket and feels fine while talking on it too. Ive never been more impressed with a product than this!!!
