Small and compact

I'm new to digital photo printing and chose this printer instead of the Epson 1430. I like it's smaller size and printing up to 8.5x11 is just fine for now. So far I've printed mostly black and white using Epson Ultra Premium Glossy paper with favorable results. Prints produced have a very good tonal range. For larger prints I'll use Epson Ultra Premium Luster. I was able to print around 60-70 4x6 prints before buying more ink. Setting up the printer was easy and has worked well without a hitch. Loading paper is quick and easy. I plan on scanning a black and white portfolio of fiber based prints but haven't done so just yet but I trust it will go smooth and easy as printing. I've done about 12 4x6 using the memory card slot and these prints really come out nice. Very accurate rendering of what I see on the screen. What little color printing I've done, I prefer the 5 star paper by Epson. Prints are vibrant and on Glossy paper really pop! I give a 4 star rating mainly because of the ink used. If I got 100- 150 4x6 prints it would get 5 stars. Over all I like the printer and would recommend it highly. Epson products are well made and deliver the goods with little hassle.

Epson Expression is so easy to you. You can sit on your sofa and print all your papers with just a simple click. The print is great and the scanning is phenomenal for work you want to download.

High-quality printer with rich features. I love the compact, stylish design to minimize the space it takes on my desk. Very easy to set up! Plus, I can print from anywhere inside or outside my home, and the paper tray opens automatically to prevent papers from falling on the floor. I highly recommend this printer to my friends and family.

I purchased this printer primarily to print photos and I am extremely satisfied with the results. This is the best quality I have seen from any inkjet I have owned and believe me I have owned many through the years.
Well why not 5 stars you may ask. The reason is the two sided paper handling. I also like to do two sided greeting cards. I could not find a way to select heavier paper so when the printer tried to return the paper to do the second side it would always jam. The work around is to do a manual feed and everything works fine.
I have not tried the auto sheet feeder so I can't comment on that.
If you are after great looking photos you won't be disappointed.

Best printer ever owned or used

This printer is fantastic. First of all it is compatible with Windows 8.1, no small feat! My husband & I are so amazed at how well it works. It works as a wi-fi with less wires. I love the little glass function screen. It is easy to choose what function you need. It is easy to load paper. It was easy to set-up. It prints real fast. This is the best printer we have ever owned or used. We choose it because of good reviews by other people. We needed a printer compatible with Windows 8.1 and not too big. This one is called "small-in-one". But it has a BIG function. We just love it!
