Epson XP-810 Review

I have only used Epson printers for 25 years and all of them have always performed in an outstanding manner. All functions on my XP-810 were easy to set-up and operate. The only item I dislike is that I have to reconnect to Wi-Fi when ever power is turned off and back on. As I turn of all nonessential electrical devices when I leave home for a day or more.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Perfection in a small footprint...

Beautiful photos, can hardly tell from the professional print shop. Text is crisp and can pass for laser.
All of the other abilities of this machine perform flawlessly. FAX, SCAN, COPY...etc By the way purchase refillable cartridges or CIS kits and you will save about 90% on the cost of ink.
Cons: Wish the paper trays were a bit bigger, but nothing to lose sleep over.

Impressive

The young man who convinced me to buy this printer was really the salesman who got the job done. However when I got home and started to install it and set it up I realized what a real find I had. The first thing I noticed was it was much heavier than the 3in1 printer I had previously and more compact. Second was all the features like 2 loading trays, printing envelops from the back without having to unload the paper. It is very easy to use and is much smaller on my desk. I have not tried all the features yet but can't wait to do some photo printing. Oh yes I liked the idea there was a second black cartridge for photo use. All in all I am very pleased thus far.
I would recommend this to a friend!

INSTALLING MY NEW EPSON EXPRESSION XP-810

So far it is great...printed a sample page that had a color photograph on it...was very impressed with the image...However, when I went to install the first black cartridge, I attempted to insert it in the wrong slot...fortunately I didn't try to cram it in there...maybe the instructions should emphasize (and perhaps they do) that there are two black cartridges...aside from that it was easy...set it up to network and all works wonderfully. I have used EPSON printers for a long time now and expect to continue.

After having to send back another brand after I tried for 90 minutes to set up ---THIS WAS A BREATH OF FRESH AIR! Simple set up and it worked the first time! Print looks great and envelopes are a snap. Really happy with the Epson XP-810!

Great little all-in-one

I had 40 to 100 year old photos I wanted to scan. The quality of photos scanned on this little printer is stunning. Clear, crisp ... and the "auto color correct" function is the best I have used in any printer.
Documents are printed with clarity and sharpness.
Copies are also clear and sharp, with accurate color reproduction.
The only suggestion for improvement is not with the printer itself, but with the set up directions that come with the printer. A more precise set of step by step directions would have been helpful.

Hands down best all in one....

Needing a new printer and upgrading from an Artisan 810 which was awesome as well....i decided to get the XP-810....the size and features really bought me to pick this up,...its "very" compact, light and easy to use the cd printer is the main feature i needed this for...but having fax and a scanner and document feeder all in one place makes it an ultimate machine....i really love this printer, and i hope to get many years out of it....

So far so good. This is a compact all in one color inkjet printer that is easy to set up wirelessly. Control panel and online instructions (pdf file) are excellent. Quick start folder is OK, but the diagrams are not the easiest to interpret. I have used it for about 10 days and it has done duplexed copies, scans, and print jobs without trouble. Envelopes fed OK, but it sounded grim. I used the automatic document feeder once without trouble. So far it is the best all in one I have owned.
