first one defective, second very good

The first printer I received had issues and had to be sent to the repair center. The replacement has been working fine but I would prefer that the unit closes when finished printing. I did not expect that this design stays open until manually closed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great printer, does a nice job printing on CD labels. Just wish it had a compact flash media reader and not so many trays. Really like the preview button so I can check and see if I will like the copy before committing.

WONDERFUL PRINTER

I am extremely impressed at this point. The directions for installation are very easy to understand, and after it was installed, it was so easy to operate. There are still a lot of functions I have to learn, but if the beginning is any idea of what it will be like as i get into learning more functions, you just got a brand new customer.

I have always enjoyed Epson products. I will continue to purchase them. Having said that, I wish I still had my previous Epson. After years of faithful service, it finally stopped working. I purchased this product and it has frustrated me no end.
The constant beeping for EVERYTHING is crazy and annoying. It took a while to get used to the scanner and its quirks but I'm good with that now.
However, I got this machine for its dvd printing capabilities. It is ridiculous the amount of steps per dvd I need to go through and the insesent beeping! Ahhhh.
Buy other Epson products and a separate dvd printer and save your sanity.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My experience with this printer so far has been very
positive. There was some confusion initially, but with your Quick Guide I was able to put the printer to good use in a brief time period.

XP-810 Meets the Need

Easy to set up right out of the box - this work horse meets my photo and document printing needs with vivid colors and high quality reproductions. I'm looking forward to trying the remote app for my iPhone that allows me to print documents to my printer from anywhere on the planet...how cool is THAT?! Way to go Epson!

This product has better functionality than my previous Epson printer (Artison 800). The paper out-feed tray seems to be much more substantial and the paper tray seems to be simpler and more reliable. Hopefully, this printer will last longer than the previous model.
