I needed a printer that would operate with my operating system Maverick. This printer has fit the bill and is extremely fast. However, I did have some small snags in getting software set up after downloading but it was nothing major. Impressed with the service and the printer.

OK printing

It prints regular paper Docs. OK- good. Pictures are OK-good all so.
Its made really cheap in some places like the paper trays! The print head and mechanism seam to be well made all so but is built to fail at sum point. Its like so many products today, WOW you with the looks and software but put together and engineered just well enough to last a year or two! But that's the sad fact in today's world of sales. Make a product just good enough to sucker people into buying it!
Hey it looks great and has impressive specs but really is just a cheap piece of plastic!
I just wish people would open there eyes (brains) enough to make a truthful review, BUT people MOST will give it 10 stars JUST because they have it no matter what it is!

works like a charm! great color, print speed is a little slower than I expected, but still very acceptable. As with any setup, you need to read thru all the steps before starting.

Top Grade Printer

My hobby is photography and I wanted a printer that would print the photographs that I take with no problems. I tried other printer brands and found that if I didn't print on a regular basis, the ink would dry up and clog the jets. I first tried an Epson 810 years ago and I never had a problem with the jets clogging even when I didn't use the printer for months. I purchased the XP-810 to replace the original 810 printer. The 810 still work but I gave it to my sister. The XP-810 works just ad good and I am very happy with my purchase.

Nice AIO with Small Footprint
on May 9, 2014

Pros: small, fast, full-functioned AIO printer, easy to set up, intuitive touch-screen controls, came with plenty of ink. ADF scans multiple pages into a single document. Did I say small?
Cons: noisy, small paper cassettes, disappointing rear feed. Replacing ink cartridges is NOT intuitive: you have to find the right menu then tell it you want to change them.
Comments: rear feed only accommodates one item at a time and-not-until-I-ask-for-it, all of which renders this feature less useful than it might be. Haven't tried photos yet, but everything else seems to be very good. Particularly with the small size, it's a very good AIO printer.
