Invisible Ink

In using the XP-810 four months, it was okay at first but soon became erratic in print quality, demanding more ink cartridge changes and then not printing anything at all even after receiving extra printer maintenance.
Now the printer screen shows the ink cartridges not needing replacement but still the XP-810 prints mostly blank pages. It once blew through a whole set of new ink cartridges which revived the XP-810 only for a month or so before it again refused to print anything.
I print very few photos and maybe 20 pages a day, mostly black and white. Yet now the XP-810 doesn't even show print preview on many jobs; when it does, it usually still doesn't print.
After spending more money on ink for the XP-810 in four months than I've spent in a year on other printers, I'm not wasting any more time or money on the XP-810.

Cats Beware!

I had a Workforce 420 for years and was very satisfied with it. When it died I purchased an XP-810 since I do a lot of color graphics. Was shocked when I opened it and found the design of the top - three sections. The first makes a loud plastic noise as you touch it and the feeder tray popping up is just as loud. My cat was used to walking across the counter and over the 420. When it went to do same on the XP-810, it flew head-over-heels with fright. I have created a matte board black box to cover the printer so she can cross over it. Bad design. Also, why must I take the paper out of cassette tray 2 when I shut down? With prior printer I could use glossy or plain paper in the tray at the same time - now I have to use the rear feeder tray for glossy color.

The printer was so easy to set up and takes up so little space. It truly lives up to its name. It was a Consumer Reports Best Buy which is the reason I decided to buy it. I'm glad I did.

This is one awesome machine. It does exactly as it is advertised and the print to cd /dvd is just fantastic.
It could use a bit more documentation as it leaves a bit to the imagination other then that the machine is great.

Recently purchased this printer for a new laptop. Set up was easy I was able to print easily. Printed docs are very clear. I have printed 4x6 prints from the tray and they are extremely nice. Will be trying larger prints soon and expect they will be great as well. Ink is very reasonable and each of the five cartidges are replacable as needed. This is the first printer I have bought in 12 years. My old printer is an Epson and still works nicely.

Epson XP810 Experssoin Premium A.I.O.

This is, in my experience, a really fine printer. It has a small footprint but seems to do every thing I used it for has been done well.
I have had the XP810 for just over a month. It was pretty easy to set up including hooking up the WIFI. Using the CD made installation of software very easy. I have had other Epson printer before and liked them. I like theXP810 even better. I have printed documents, photos and made a variety of copies, am very pleased with the results.
I really like that there are 2 paper trays, both can be removed for easy paper loading. I also find the rear paper path very useful for handling heavier paper as well as envelopes.
Price was very good too I thought.

Mighty Printer

This is the first time I purchase an Epson product. the printer was easy to setup. Less than 10 minutes. Print quality is very good, but output is a little slow. I'll take the quality anytime again speed. I was under impression if one cartridge is empty you may continue to print. This was not the case. You have to replace the empty cartridge ASAP. If not, you will get an error message regarding replacing the cartridge first to continue. Overall I like the print.
