The photos are coming out with way too much green or they have red stripes in them.
Very disappointing.

I've only had the printer a short time and it has already left black marks on pictures that were printed from the drawer 2.

Unlike the Artisan 837, which this printer replaced, it is missing CD/DVD printing. nuff said

Questionable start

Got an error message when first starting. Then it ran the 7 minute initialization again, hope it did not waste ink. The Low Ink app did not work, said i needed to register. Now i am registered and it still does not work, same message. I hope purchasing this printer was not a mistake. We'll see how it goes from here. In general I am not feeling comfortable with the amount of software installed and information provided at registration given that the software did not work. The machine also seems a little flimsy.

Good all purpose printer

Have just used it for two weeks but very pleased with initial results. Much faster than previous printers. Good text output. Very good photo quality considering this is not a dedicated photo printer. Scan software easy to use and to install. Fax works well once I entered fax phone numbers correctly. Before I did that, I got an incorrect error message (which stated "Line busy" when problem was that an initial "1" was necessary). Can use controls on printer or in software on computer - both seem to work well. Excellent product for the price.

Although the features are very sophisticated, the machine is still easy to use and seems to be very reliable. I'ts also quite forgiving of this somewhat "clutsy" operator and tells me what to do if I make a mistake.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy on all levels

I wanted to print on CDs and it was a snap! I had purchased another brand but it didn't set up my wireless or help me make my CDs, so I took it back.
The Epson was super easy to set up and very intuitive. Once it knew what I wanted, things started to flow effortlessly.
Setting up the wireless was a snap. Printed from my ipad without any glitches.
This is a keeper!!

Having had several types of printers, asked a few people for recommendations, Epson was well liked. So I decided to give it a try, so it is a nice machine. I hope it continues.
