There is no owner's manuel shipped with this printer. The reason is that it is over 350 pages. A lot of good info., but don't print it. i did and i used $25.00 in ink and paper. Save it as a document file and read what you need from the screen. I should have looked at how many pages were in the very thick book before iI printed it. Also does not support Mac os 10.6.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I PURCHASED THIS PRINTER TO REPLACE ANOTHER EPSON (ARTISAN 810)... THIS PRINTER IS NOT USER FRIENDLY, ITS BUILT CHEAP. WE MAINLY PURCHASED THIS PRINTER FOR THE CD PRINT OPTION....IT TAKES MULTIPLE STEPS TO PRINT ON ONE CD. THIS PRINTER IS OKAY TO USE ONLY FOR THE REGULAR PRINT ON REGULAR PAPER OPTION- NO GOOD FOR PRINTER ON 4X6 OR CD'S...VERY DISAPPOINTED.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cool multi-function in a small package

I purchased the Epson Expression Premium XP-810 to replace my Artisan 810, which was getting a bit long in the tooth from years of use.
Not only did Epson put the same functionality in a significantly smaller package, they added the ability to scan from the automatic sheet feeder on both sides of the page.
The unit prints and scans significantly faster.
I was able to connect to my home network using WPS... much better than having to use the panel display to input a very long security key.
When printing, the document tray automatically extends. No more documents all over the floor when I'm printing from the other room.
Envelopes can be fed directly from the back of the printer, rather than having to fiddle with the upper paper tray.
The CD/DVD printing capability is much improved. Rather than having to fiddle around with an auto-extending tray, which often jammed, the plastic caddy, which stores in the base of the printer, is much simpler and is definitely less hassle to use.
I'm giving Epson an A+ for making a much-improved product for the home user.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought the XP-810 as a Christmas present for my wife & myself.
Just finished setting it up on 2 Windows computers.
1 running XP Pro and the other Windows 7 Pro.
Set up couldn't have been easier.
I have it running on Ehternet for the 2 computers, plus wireless.
Everything worked the first time.
Just used it for my iPad, no set-up, just tap on print.
Set-up was a breeze and the print quality is terific.
It was the easiest printer to install I have ever had.

Epson office printer XP-810

I wanted this printer because it was small enough to fit onto my desk at home and replace the printer (HP model) I had used for 8 years. Secondly, it is color and relatively speedy with good quality print.
What I do care for is the space age front door that opens automatically to allow printed material out but does not shut automatically after removing printed material. Also, the cartridges must be installed individually (50) and they are pretty expensive without much volume. In other words I am destined to be buying alot of print cartridges since my volume can be much higher than the 250 page capacity of each cartridge.
