Great Buy

Replaced a 12 year old GE electric range with this one. Have had it for about three weeks and have baked bread, cooked roasts and casseroles and broiled some salmon. Have not used the convection oven, as yet. I found that there is definitely a learning curve with the new technology. But reading the manual and taking note of the shelf recommendations for different foods is very helpful.
Unlike some reviewers, I have not experienced any problems with the cook top. Have used both cast iron and stainless steel cookware and always wipe the bottoms of the pans before I place them on the stove. Have used the recommended stove top cleaner and all spills and markings have come off easily.
All in all, I am very pleased with this range and would recommend it for both its looks and its performance.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worth the money

Had the range for a few weeks and are very pleased with the product. Still learning favorite bake times for the oven. Heats fast. Storage drawer stores our pots as well as our last range. Features are easy to use with the control panel. Slid right into place and fit on top of the counter top per leg leveling. Worth the money.

Slave to cooktop

The stove looks beautiful as long as you do not use the cooktop. Takes extreme care. Pits if you're not careful and heaven forbid you ever have company that slides a heavy pot for back to front for acess. then you have scratches. Needs heavy cleaning with every use. Don't buy it.

Quickly boils a pot of water.

I have been using this stove for 2 weeks. The cooktop is terrific! Water boils quickly on ALL burners, not just the large power burner.
I was used to waiting half an hour for my old oven to preheat, and then I never knew because there was no bell. This one is so fast, usually no more than 10 minutes, and it chimes to let you know it is ready.
The convection oven is wonderful for baking. I really don't like it for normal cooking of things like chicken tenders. They did not get crispy using the convection.
One thing to know-- the cooling fan (not convection fan) starts running as soon as the oven is turned on, and it stays on until the oven is almost completely cool. This could be as long as 1.5 hours after you turn it off.

Like most of the features. Was hoping the fan would not continue to run so long after over is turned off, but it continues about 30 min. 'Lo' is not low enough - the food continues to boil.

The stove looks beautiful but.....it's very difficult to control the heat settings; even on low it was impossible to get it to simmer properly - it was always more of a low boil. I don't care for the settings on the front of the stove - they seem to require cleaning more frequently

I was very hesitant to purchase a smooth top electric stove. I was not overly impressed the couple of times I used my daughters. I have, however, been extremely happy with it! It took a little bit to get used to the "personalities" of each unit. They heat up extremely fast and when the heat is reduced or turned off it responds quickly as well. Not instant like a gas stove but pretty darn close. Love the three size option on the front right burner, love the warming unit. I use it mostly to warm our plates. I read other reviews where people said it was hard to clean. Oh please, it's a flat glass service. Couldn't be easier. Just follow the manufacturers recommendation. LOVE the convection oven. I make cakes that are baked on a cookie sheet for the holidays. I was able to do two at a time and probably could have done three if I had the third cookie sheet. Saved a ton of time and they came out beautiful. The only concern I've had is with the oven door. It has a slight catch in the hinge every once and a while when I close the door. So far it's not been an issue, but it is a concern. I would recommend this purchase vary highly. And....it is a beautiful addition to my kitchen. I purposely waited to do my review so I could experience the oven and the cook top for various cooking delights. It is fabulous!

Had a cooktop and a built in oven. The oven wasn't as big as I wanted so we decided to purchase this and do a mini remodel. I LOVE this new slide in stove! ❤️
