I bought this to go with my brand new TCL Roku ready TV (MHL). Virtually no set-up, works perfectly with the iOS App, and looks great in 1080p!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Failed after 30 days

90 day Warranty would have been nice. It lost wireless communication about 6 weeks after receipt. It sees and drops local WIFIs randomly, and could not connect with a transmitter 6 feet away.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does not support Screen Mirroring

I bought my Roku ready TV with the Roku streaming stick included. I read online where screen mirroring is now supported by Roku 3 and Roku streaming stick, and was excited to try it out. Unfortunately, that is not exactly true. It is supported by the 3500 streaming stick, and my TV came with 3400 model Roku stick, and the option is not listed in the menus. No indication is given on the web site as to whether or not support will be added to other models or not. My guess is not. This is fairly misleading, as nowhere can I find any distinctions given on model #'s and specification for the sticks.

Great possibilities for the small cost

Had trouble with our wifi at the same time we were setting up our Roku. Tech support was super helpful in determining where the problem was, then walking us thru to the end to be sure all was connected. Now how we love what we've got!

The stick works great, but is slower and with the roku 3 the episodes will continue on netflix and huluplus... but not with the stick i have to manually request the next episode.. I guess the 3 spoiled me. But a great product, i would highly recommend.

I was told it would work on my laptop tablet. And it does not work. And it works ok on a TV but I would not recommend this device. I am very sad that I spent the money on it.
