Died Right After Warranty Expired

This is our 3rd Oral B toothbrush purchase. Our last one lasted a very long time.....probably longer than Oral B would have liked. When that finally died, we bought Oral B again because we had such a good experience. We bought two more upon our last purchase. Now, one seems okay yet but, the other is just noisy, slow, and the charge runs out quickly. Maybe the brushes were lasting too long and Oral B engineers were told to engineer them to fail. I guess we'll buy another Oral B but if we have the same experience I'm going to look at other brands.

Terrible battery

This toothbrush will not hold a charge. The instructions say it takes 22 hours for a full charge, but after waiting the allotted amount of time, the brush still indicated it was charging. I tried brushing my teeth with it anyway and was able to get about a minute and 30 seconds before it slowed down and eventually stopped around the 2 minute mark, with the red battery light flashing. This happened the first few times (with at least 10 hours of charging between each use), and then I could barely even get 45 seconds of use before it would stop. Thinking I just got one with a bad battery, I exchanged it for a new one after two weeks. The new one has been charging for over 36 hours and still does not have a complete charge. I tried using it anyway at the 36 hour mark and it ran out of battery after a single 2 minute use. Additionally, there is no pressure sensor feature on either of these brushes. My teeth feel very clean if it actually works for two minutes, but overall it was a waste of money. I'll probably return the second one I got. I do not recommend purchasing this product.

Stopped charging after 8 months of use

My mom got me this as a Christmas gift but it stopped charging after a few months. Pretty expensive toothbrush to fail to quickly. Very disappointing.

Good brush by battery won't last

I got this brush 2 weeks ago and it's been great, but I took it on a trip and the battery died before I even got to use it. It was a 2 day trip so I am slightly concerned by this. I don't want to need to carry the charger whenever I'm traveling.

We want to give you a convenient clean, especially when you're on a trip, so we're sorry to hear about this. Are you ensuring that you aren't charging your brush on a metal surface? The metal can interfere with the charging process. Also, are you charging your brush for the full 22 hours before using it? This should provide up to 7 days of use, when brushing twice a day. Wonderful!!!

My aunt suggested I get a rechargeable toothbrush after my battery one died after a few months of use. She told me hers was an Oral B and she has had it for about 8 years. I went out and found something very similar then to hers and LOVE it!! It holds it charge amazing!! I've charged it once, and haven't had to charge it since yet (been a couple weeks). At first I wasn't sure I liked the cross action toothbrush head but now I also really like that as well! I love how it gets my teeth so clean. I'm now even looking for a toothbrush case for it so I can take it when traveling so I don't have to go back to using a manual one ever. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Pressure Sensor/Speed Control

Brand new out of the box, the Pressure Sensor does not work no matter how hard you push. The speed control by pressing the on/off button does not work. Once you turn it on, no matter how quick you tap the button it just turns off.
These are the features that led me to purchase this brush. Does not live up to its listed advantages.

Charging issues

Will not charge unless the brush is on the charger and the charger is unplugged and replugged. At this time, the charging light comes on. I’ve received 3 replacements and they all are acting the same way.

love that the product takes up less space on the bathroom sink, is quick to charge/ready to use, and offers flexibility of brush choices. powerful, offers a truly well-scrubbed kind of clean!
