Cooktop hard to keep clean and scratches EASILY

Went from a Maytag with similar cooktop to this one and this one immediately scratched when cleaning. My Maytag was at least 5-6 years old, maybe older, and never had that problem….cleaned up really nice and pretty. The GE cooktop already looks old and scratched….not happy with quality of the cooktop.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

cook top issues

This our second ceramic cook top stove. This models cook top is much more easily scratched that our previous model. Even with careful use the scratch are permanent. Also after burner items are brought to a boil at is nearly impossible to find a low enough setting to keep it at that temperature without continuing the boil
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this stove in July and Have used it through canning season and now into holiday baking season. I LOVE how there are 5 burners on top. Perfect spacing of the burners for my canner and jam pots, etc. I LOVE the double ovens. I can bake several batches of cookies or bread at once and it all gets done perfectly. I am very impressed with all the features and would ABSOLUTELY tell all my friends and family about this stove.

I bought this a week ago and have been very pleased so far. I love the double oven so everything is cooked at the same time. Also love the warming burner and the melt function.

LOVE THIS STOVE

We went from an 18 year old single oven stove to this great dual oven slate stove. Since there are 2 of us in the household - we only end up using the top oven most of the time which saves us money on our electric bill. It looks great against our cabinets and this was a wonderful purchase.
