Amazing Washer... I can't stop watching it

Buying a washer has never been this hard. The descriptions of every washer makes you think they are perfect and then every review seemed to say they are the worst washers in history!
I guess thats why they offer a chance for a reward for people who write reviews... Usually only hateful people write reviews. Isn't that interesting?
Anyway... I was looking for a cheaper model and then selected this one by accident. It showed up to my door before I was able to fix my mistake. At least it was the top rated model. I do not recommend AJ Madison for this reason. Horrible customer service.
So this beautiful washer is installed in my laundry room and I'm kind of skeered to put my precious clothes in it because of all the reviews I read. Well I finally did and I started watching the cycle run. Normal Cotton. Nothing fancy, about a half load. It was the most amazing thing. I washed three loads that first night and I couldn't take my eyes off of that washer.
Who ever said their shirt stayed in the same place and never moved... or the person who said their clothes didn't get clean... or that the washer didn't agitate hard enough... it's hard to believe they were watching my washer work through the cycle.
This is by far the best washer I have ever seen and I love the way it works, small load or heavy load. Just amazing. I'm sure I'll get tired of watching it at some point, but i don't know when. Now I enjoy doing laundry!

CLOTHES are VERY WRINKLED

While others say how they love how almost all of the water is eliminated from the wash cycle, to me, that translates into VERY WRINKLED clothing. Pants legs are wrapped around themselves like a spindle. With my old washer, I used to wash and hang, and could avoid ironing most of my casual clothing. With the LG, I now have to put my clothing into the dryer to get out the horrid wrinkles, which I do not like to do. If I simply hang the clothes out of the washer, they would require ironing, which takes more time that I would like to spend on my laundry. For this reason, I would not recommend this washer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Top Load Washer from LG

We read all the review from all over the internet before buying this machine. We even paid for a subscription to Consumer Reports, which gave LG the highest marks across the board for Quality, Performance and Gentleness to clothes. Still, I think we totally lucked out on buying this LG Washer and we couldn't be happier. .
If you read complaints about any of the HE Washers (Top Loaders or Front Loaders) about laundry coming out soapy, those people are using detergent that is not HE rated.
If there are complaints about unbalanced loads, they are not washing like items in their washer.
If their machine is smelling like mildew, they are not leaving the door open so the machine can dry out.
If you read your instructions that come with this washer, your washer will be the best washer you have ever owned.
You can select water temperature and how fast you want the washer to spin out your clothes.
You can press PAUSE and open your machine up to add that piece of clothing or towel you forgot.
You can Select a Speed Wash or select from 14 other wash setting with a turn of a dial.
Don't be scared off from reading that it takes 90 minutes to do a load of laundry because It all depends on what and how much Laundry is in your washer. The time adjusts to fit the amount and type of laundry in the wash.
Clothes dry much faster because they come out of this washer drier so laundry is done faster.
This washer is so quite too, all you really hear is the water running into the machine and the music it plays when your load of wash is done.
This machine is very easy to use too!
I already know I'll buy the matching LG Dryer when my 20 year old dryer breaks down.
You get what you pay for and we are glad we bought this LG Washer.

What a ingeniously designed washer!

This washer is outstanding The performance, the choice of cycles, the clean, clean fresh smelling clothes that are not bunched up in a ball. Gentle swishing doesn't ruin any type of clothing, whether it is jeans or delicates. And, yes you can fit a king size fluffy comforter in it without any problems. Seriously! I love when the cycle is complete because it doesn't buzz nor beep. It plays a sweet little musical tune! And most important is it is LOW ENERGY. Your bill is not affected no matter how much you need to wash. Not only do you save money on your utility bill, you also use less detergent! I cannot wait to get the matching dryer. Don't think twice nor say well I don't know I need to look, DON'T just Get it! You won't ever find anything as excellent as this. Its like a Cadillac of washers. I know I made the right decision and sooo glad I did!

I had read the reviews about the new high efficiency washers. I, too, was doubtful as to how clean my laundry would get with so little water being used. And that 'may' be the case with other washers....but not this one. This truly is the washer of my dreams. It has so, so many combinations of settings, small loads, huge loads, extra water, delicate, heavily soiled. Yet, with so many available settings, it's easy to use. LG truly has designed the washer of my dreams. Thank You!!

Washer cleans clothes well

This washer is well worth the money if you have a lot of clothes to wash on a regular basis. PLEASE read the manual and know how it works first. Do not attempt to figure it out on your own. You need to know how to work it so you can achieve maximum results with the cleanliness of the items you are trying to clean. It takes time to get used to this washer, especially if all you have ever used is conventional models/ types. I love how it spins the clothes almost dry. I love the capacity of this washer. It has cut my loads in half. I don't feel like I am spending hours in the laundry room as I used to before. The chrome areas scratch easy, so be cautious of that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the older model of this washer 5 years ago with the dryer. I'm glad I bought the extended warranty. I had to have the clutch replaced after I only had the product for a couple of years. Then about a year later it broke again. They couldn't repair it because the part was no longer available so the insurance I had sent me a check to replace it with the newer model. I wouldn't have bought the same product but the washer and dryer are in my kitchen and I wanted them to match. I've only had the new washer for about 3 months. So far so good. The only issues I have are how long it takes to wash a load (most loads are 1 hour or more), and when you clean it once a month it runs for (2 1/2 hours).
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
