Excellent Washer for My Needs

I needed a narrow washing machine for my space and this one was perfect. It has a large enough capacity for my needs and fit right into the space of my old washing machine. It is great in every way. The one complaint I read often online was that it was deep and hard to reach the back. This is true, but if you just rotate the drum so that clothes from the back are now in front of you, the problem is solved. The spin cycle is fantastic and clothes are not wet - less time in the dryer - money saved. I also like the control panel in front instead of the back. Nice innovation. Overall a great product.

This washer does a great job. Clothes get very clean and spin out most of the water so drying the clothes is fast.

This washer exceeded my expectations

Reviews of top load HE washers seem to be all over the place and I was a little concerned about the top loading HE washers. My purchase of this washer was partly driven by the fact that we have a limited space for a washer and few machines fit plus the tub is huge. I have had four front load HE washers and was pleased with each of them and have had three or four top load conventional washers. But this top loader is far quieter than any of the front loaders I have had, it seems to do a better job of cleaning (this is partly my wife's observation - her white socks came out noticeably whiter to her eye), and the various washing options are excellent. We typically use the fastest spin speed for rinsing because clothes come out with so much water removed that the dryer runs far less than with any washer we have previously owned, even the front load HE washers. We both find the top loading much easier to load and empty than the front load machines -- no more bending down to peer inside the machine to see if socks or wash clothes are left behind. We also find the front panel controls much easier to use than back panel controls. As others have noted, it is important to read the manual. I liked that after registration I received several e-mails from LG with helpful summaries of operating options (all of which can also be found in the manual -- if you can still find the manual after a year or two). I saved the e-mail messages and links for convenient future reference. At only 6 weeks of use, it is too early to opine on long term quality. But we love the machine.

My family true LG products so it was a no brainer when it came time to purchase my own. I wanted a washer with a face door but it was my husband that found this model and for once I'm glad we picked it. I don't have to bend down...unless I'm getting the clothes out. Its very deep with is great for large loads. I only wish it came in purple. 'hint hint LG'

It Cleans So Well!

I can honestly say that my clothes come out great. It's large capacity lets you wash more in less time. Plus I love the little tune that lets you know when your wash is finished!

Exactly what I wanted. Smaller width fits perfectly in the tight space that was available. Washes very efficiently and is extremely quiet. I would most definitely buy again.

Very disappointed

This machine does not clean clothes. I always wear camisoles under my blouses and if I do not prescrub under the arms to remove the deodrant stains it comes out of the machine the same way it went in.I work hard for my money and to be so truly disappointed in the product.

The only downside is that the signal indicating that the wash is finished could be a little louder since the washer is in the basement.
