Love this washer

I had read reviews this cited difficulties with washing getting close clean etc.... I haven't found a single thing I don't like about this washer. I've run large loads and I've also run a load with just two items and it works beautifully. I've washed rugs sheets clothing cleaning rags anything you can think up and everything comes clean. The fast spin is fantastic, things come out so much drier than my old washer could do. The only slight problem is that I'm short and it's a little hard to reach all the way down inside for that last small item. But hey -- small problem when all else is so good. I would definitely buy this again

My washer stopped working after 2 months. Clanking sounds from inside the tub started happening and I put a manufacturers warranty request for repairs. The technician came out repaired the problem but now the washer goes out of balance frequently after the repairs and internal parts sound like they were not properly tightened or just not properly lubricated . The tub sits alot lower than when I purchased the washer. In addition, it is now rusting. I repeat I have only owned this washer for 2 months. I just want a good reliable washer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

THIS IS A GREAT SET. WE HAVE BOTH THE WASHER AND DRYER. MY WIFE IS WHEEL CHAIR BOUND AND I PURCHASED THIS SET TO LET HER FEEL MORE USEFUL BY DOING SOME WASH. SHE CAN REACH THE CONTROLS NOW AND THAT EASES HER FEELING UNABLE TO HELP.

GREAT WASHER

This washer is AMAZING. My husband and I joke, like this thing is like a Cadillac. This washer machine has all the bells and whistles. Nice big tub, fancy finish and a TON of washing options. My only negative feedback would have to be, how long a load takes to wash compared to our old washer. Time is the only problem. There is a setting for a speed wash, if the laundry is lightly soiled, but it would be nice if the time for a normal load was shorter in time. I don’t mind waiting the extra minutes as my clothes come out CLEANER, I use less laundry soap, and since this washer machine has a wonderful spin cycle on it, we are able to dry our clothes in a shorter time period. We also recommend the matching dryer. We couldn’t be happier with this pair!

unusual and beautiful to look at. it is taller and deeper than the washer it replaced so i cannot reach to the bottom (am 5'2")--i have to use a grabber. so far i have scratched it but i am conscious of leaning against it. certain clothes seem to be more wrinkled - i think because there is no agitator.

I have never owned a brand new washer in my life. I saw this one in home depot around Christmas time (picking up my wife a new LG Microwave) and I told my wife that it didn't matter what it took we would have one. Well the funds came and I bought one. We couldn't be happier. This washer is huge. Cut our loads on laundry day in half. This washer is efficient. I am a garage door service professional and at least once a day I get some grease smeared across some clothes somewhere and after a wash in this machine they are CLEAN! This washer is quiet. With the glass top it is easy to watch it wash for a while and with it being so quiet you can actually have a phone conversation hovering over the thing and the person on the other end doesn't even know your next to a clothes washer. The more LG products I own the more I love LG. If you decide to purchase this washer you will not regret it. We bought the matching dryer too and WOW what a combo.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will never buy another LG product again. I've had this thing for about two weeks now and it's already crapped out on me. I did a load of laundry and it worked fine, I did another load and the next thing I know I keep getting an error code. And now I am having to call Customer Support because this thing won't work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I couldn't be more happy with my LG washing machine. This is my first LG product, and I bought it solely on the recommendation of a local appliance store. It has surpassed my expectations in design, quality, and value. It washes everything from delicate clothing to bulky comforters, and it does so with ease. I was unsure at first of the load sensor that determines how much water is needed for each load, but so far it has been spot on every time. My clothing, towels, and so on are always covered with just enough water to get the job done, but not waste anything extra in the process. I'm also saving money on laundry detergent as I don't need nearly as much to wash even the largest of loads.
The machine itself seems to be very well-made. It doesn't make any loud noises when washing, and I haven't had any issues with unbalanced loads and what. The touch screen is easy to use, too.
As far as the value of the product, I originally looked at washing machines from other companies that sold machines of a lower-quality for about the same price. This machine has a very generous load capacity at 4.9, and doesn't have an agitator which makes loading and unloading so much easier. Other brand's machines in this price range didn't offer the capacity, lack of agitator, or overall quality in design. I would definitely say this product is worth the money.
Overall, I'm just really happy with this product.I will definitely be thinking of LG when it's time to get a new dryer!
