I reviewed many makes and models consumer reviews before deciding on my Frigidaire induction range. Overall reviews were good except that many people mentioned fan noises from many different makes. I am very pleased with my decision to purchase the Frigidaire. Mine has no noise at all and it is so much faster than my old electric range. Another item that I like is the storage drawer. This is the only unit I found to have one, all the other have a warming drawer. My old range had a warming drawer and I never used it. The only thing that I would say could use an improvement is to make the storage drawer more sturdy. I have used all functions over the last month from frying to roasting to baking and am pleased with the results. Not to mention that it also looks great! LOVE IT!

Great Range

As I was replacing all of the major appliances in our kitchen, the range was our major concern. Having used a small conduction device in the past, made the choice easier. I shopped all the major brands & thought the Frigidaire was the best choice for our needs.Works fantastic, love it, made cooking & baking fun again.

Big oven induction units heat pots and very fast

We have had the unit about 2 months and my wife and I really like the range. the controls are well placed and easy to use and are intuitive.

Extremely efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this stove a few weeks ago after my oven's mother board fried. I was looking to replace my electric stove with gas because I had more "control" of the tempature while cooking . After reading up on the induction stovetop and how efficient over gas it was I was impressed. I cook all the time and love it. It heats quickly and as soon as you lower the heat the cooking slows down immediately. The top does not stay hot long after shutting off . When you remove the pot from the burner it stops heating. I highly recommend this stove and pleases with frigadaire products. I have a dishwasher and refrigerator from their gallery collection and this stove matched beautifully.

Easy to keep clean

Simply Amazing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Frigidaire induction stove to replace my electric stove because I wanted the immediate responsiveness to heat increases/decreases (like gas). My first major test was how long it took for my 6 qt pot for spaghetti to boil. Water boiled in 10 minutes. The teapot is boiling within 5 minutes. I love that the burner does not stay hot so it is easy to clean. I bought a double burner griddle to use that feature and my pancakes were amazing. A convection oven was also new to me. I made a batch of chocolate chip cookies and put the entire batch in the oven at the same time. Every cookie was perfect. This stove has truly made cooking fun again.

Very nice range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first induction oven I've ever had. I'm amazed how quick it heats a pan. It will boil water in less than a minute. The oven has some real nice features as well and not as loud as some reviews I've read.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok, we've had our last range 25 years. Still worked fine but just wanted to update the kitchen. For years I wanted a duel fuel range (gas cooktop, electric oven). I been reading and induction kept coming up. I bought this blind, had to special order it. So glad we did this. It completely different than a standard smooth top range. I put a cup of water in a pot and it's boiling in like 30 seconds. No lie. Turn it down and the reaction is immediate. never seen anything like it.
Anyway I had to replace 2 pans that weren't induction ready but all my other cookware works fine. Just test with a kitchen magnet. If it sticks to the bottom of the pan your fine.
Now to the oven, I love the display. It shows what the actual temp is as it's heating up. Shows what element is on and the clock stays on the display for most function. Tried the probe and it was perfect for a meat loaf that I tried with it. It preheats in half the time our old range did.
If your on the fence about induction, done be scared to jump.
