Great looking microwave and it works.

We had an initial problem in that when we were using the convection oven the fan was hitting the guard but a technician came in and fixed the problem and we are very much enjoying the microwave.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color
I would recommend this to a friend!

2 samsung kitchen appliances out of 4 are giving trouble

This microwave looks good but the electronics on it aren't very good. The fan comes on, on its on. Not because the range under it is being used either. I go weeks without cooking anything. I'm single male, so none of my products have been used very much. The led lights come on by themselves also. It didn't give any trouble until the warranty ran out. About 15 months after purchase. This product has been used less than 20 times. Very disappointed! It is still hooked up but you never know when something will come on, on its on. I'm a big samsung fan but after purchasing 4 samsung appliances for the kitchen, I will only be buying tvs and cell phones.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, gave trouble after the warranty was gone
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Confusing and tedious to learn...TOO MANY PRESET FEATURES!!!!

I have a Master's in Home Ec/Consumer Science and I find this appliance very confusing to figure out and learn. I used my old microwave (not convection) to cook a lot of different things not just reheat or cook convenience foods. I ordered this model when the turntable motor on my old micro went out and decided that buying a new unit and upgrading to a convection made more sense than repairing the old one. But I am disappointed in this unit, even tho Consumer Reports gave it a very high rating. I find all the preset buttons very confusing and tedious. I'd prefer having a micro that gave me basic instructions for cooking, roasting, etc., that I could apply to my existing recipes rather than try to figure out which preset feature is close to what I want to do. And I'd also like to have a number keypad, tho the dial does provide more detailed settings. However I have read that dials actually last longer than touchpads.
But now a new feature has appeared that we didn't pay for! Out of nowhere, the fan will just come on, or the timer will go off, or the rangetop light will come on without anyone even near the unit! This has happened enough times that I know it's not the result of someone having accidentally touched the timer, light, etc. It's probably just a short in the circuit board, but it sure caught us off guard when it first happened.
Pros: Inexpensive, attractive
Cons: Did not meet expectations, too many presettings
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Why have a toaster over....a broiler....a deep fryer...bake/roast.....a micro when you can have this all in one Appliance........been waiting for something like this for a long time.....Bravo Samsung.....I now have a complete Samsung house and happy about it.....3 tv's....push in stove....dishwasher...and frenchdoor fridge.......I'm their best customer.......
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, perfect design, built to last

Had PC Board replaced 3 times and still not working correctly, Also own Dishwasher also broke within a year,Nice looking but very poor quality
