I purchased my first Roku 2 so I could watch my National Hockey League games by choosing the home or away broadcasts. Something that the Sony Blu Ray Player does NOT offer. Only offers home broadcast. I also purchased it because it is dual band supported. We only use 5.0 Ghz band because I live in a large apartment property with many many 2.4 routers in the area. So I hooked it up in less than 5 mins and was watching stations under 10 mins. The connectivity is awesome with NO issues whatsoever. I have added so many channels to my player now. Remember, I was only getting it to watch my hockey games. I am officially addicted to it now. I am so addicted that I have now purchased 2 more players in our home. So now we have 3 ROKU players fired up and enjoying it very very much. The best investment I have made in many years! I also love the headphone connection on the remote. Now my wife lets me watch TV in bed without disturbing her. It is just a little bit larger than a hockey puck! What more could you ask? Thank You ROKU!!!!!!:)

Bought the Roku on recommendations so I could wean my husband off cable - and it worked! Goodbye cable sub, hello Netflix! So easy to access a huge variety of content without attaching a computer and fiddling with logins. He thinks it's wonderful.

I bought my Roku about a month ago now and its great. I only wish it offered CinemaNow and HBOGO for Comcast (Xfinity) subscribers, all the channels and available apps are great and I have no complaints.

Received Roku2 as a Christmas gift and we are enjoying it. Set up was relatively easy. Needed a little tech support and were impressed with the help we got. So far we have had no problems.

Got our Roku 2 as a Christmas present. Directions were clear and easy, both physical set up and registering the Roku and already existing Netflix and Amazon Prime accounts. Use is simple and intuitive.
