I cut my cable with Xfinity-Comcast, and I also have free air wave Digital TV beside our new ROKU for over a year now. This HD with Roku is fabulous.Every once in a while I do loose my streaming with my Att internet router, but it all depends on the internet speed you are receiving and how many other electronic gagets are using the Wi-Fi. But this is rare. Getting ready to purchase the new Roku 3. Most important know what is your internet speed and what other electronic gagets are running through your router Wi-Fi. Roku is the #1 Streamer.

good replacement for tv

I love the having ability to watch programs without commercials or having to wait a full week for the next episode. The only thing I don't like is having to point the remote directly at the unit. If it's the slightest bit angled, it won't communicate.

I bought my roku 2 when they first came out, i have 2 other roku's and i just ordered another one for my mom. Keep up the great work and at some point i would love to see a web browser added to all players so we can check our mail, etc.

more & more channels are added every week it seems & i especially appreciate MHZ, which no longer airs MHZ international mysteries on my local tv feed but can be viewed on an updated ROKU channel. Netflix, Amazon Prime, SKY TV news, PANDORA, ACORN & WARNER TV, LIFETIME, PBS, CNE (Conde Nast), etc etc -- a lovely mix of free & pay channels. I dislike channels that claim to be free and then requests monthly fees. A new search engine to distinguish the channels smooths out that kink. And there is now a way to personalize SDH captions too.

I love my Roku. I'am a disabled senior so my tv is a big part of my life. With Roku even on days when there is nothing good on tv, I always have some great to watch through my Roku!!!! It was easy to instal. Even I did it myself!

I have to say... Buying my Roku was one of the best things ive ever done.. I have more than gotten my money out of it.. As a matter of fact im buying another one.. Its not very often you find something with this much bang for the buck.. Tv and Internet radio.. You cant beat it.. Try it.. You will like it.. IM SURE..

I have had my Roku for about 2 years. I heard about from a customer of mine and I bought one and my whole family loves it. We only have one, but there will be 2 more under our Christmas tree this year. My 7 year old can operate just as good as I can! Couldn't live without it!
