Nice for older TVs.

We bought this for our old rear projection TV that the kids still use. The TV doesn't have HDMI connections so we had to go the RCA route. This Roku player fit the bill! Works great!

I own a few different models and had luck with all but one. The one with the USB key. It keeps freezing on me and it's getting more often.

Really neat little device!

In had no idea what this little black box would so. I purchased it hopefully as an easy way to view my Amazon Prime videos without the cables. Well, not only does it stream Amazon but seeming endless other free and pay channels. The picture quality is superb with a good video. I have it hooked up to a flat panel TV as well as a Panasonic LCD projector using a 35 foot flat, under the rug, hdmi cable which works great.
Amazon and others allow you to develop a watch list which mine now has 100 movies and videos to view so I won't need to add a pay channel anytime soon.
All in all, a neat little box and lots of fun exploring all the possibilities.

Roku's work very well

I like all my Roku players I brought the Roku 1 for my cabin works very well but have to use two controllers one for on off and sound I have a roku 3 player at my home for my older TV in my living room also works very well but same as the roku 1 it takes two controllers my favorite Roku is my Roku TV I have in my bedroom I only need the one controller and it works everything the Roku TV gets 5 stars

We bought this to use instead of our Playstation to stream Netflix and Hulu. So far the only downside is the limited number of games available for this unit. Other than that it's doing everything we expected from it.
