When we first received the Roku we had a hard time with loading and buffering. I upgraded my modem and that has take care of the problem. It works fine and we enjoy using it

We've been thinking about dropping cable for about a year and finally di and wish we had sooner! The choice of content on my Roku far exceed what was on the cable stations. We get to choose what we watch and when not what is scheduled. We love the flexibility and convenience we get from our Roku!

I've had other brands and the Roku is just better. I have the Streaming Stick as well and really like it. My only complaint with the Roku SE is the Netflix App. You get a better app with the upgraded models. Now knowing this, I would spend the extra $ for the upgraded Roku model if for no other reason than the better Netflix App. If that is not an issue and you just need an inexpensive media player, this one will work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

good starter streamer

If your not looking for fancy options, this is the best basic streaming unit you can buy. I dont need voice control of ear plugs, I just need it to work. The Roku offers the more channels then the others and the easiest interface. cant beat it.

This is my second ROKU

ROKU did not work at first. Being that it was my second ROKU I attempted to get it going on my own with no luck. I then had to call customer service and after 20 minutes they were able to fix the problem. I have not had any issues since.
