I bought this Roku as a gift for christmas. It was so easy to set up and to teach my family to use. I use it all the time to watch movies and tv shows that we love.

Very touchy

I bought the unit cause I live in the sticks and it only works when it want to work most the time I spend resetting it and watching it lag

I am fascinated by the volume of channels available. However, you must sort out the "view by charge" channnels along with the "extra equipment needed" channels.

Someone mentioned the name Roku because they didn't have the item I was shopping for. I didn't know at the time, this was what I was shopping for instead. Easier and better than what I was shopping for!

Works better than simply connecting a PC to the TV

I think this device is satisfactory for it's cost. However, it would be better with a radio wave based remote as well as ability to perhaps connect a keyboard via wireless as well. The search option is incredibly tedious as well as entering in email address and passwords for the setup of accounts.
