perfect and worth the money

i have the roku 2&3. needed a new one because my 2 stopped working, and replacement power cord did not work got the 1 to save $'s. this one does the same as the other two. sure doesn't have the bells and whistles but that's definitely worth the half price tag. dont think twice about buying. will probably get another for spare tv's. vs moving from tv to tv. also like that it works on my old box tv too... really can't lose

Turned my old TV into a smart TV

I bought the Roku 1 to use with an older TV we have in a spare room. Originally it was just to use with an app from my cable provider in hopes of saving money I would have to spend on a cable box. Roku now gives so many other channel options with Netflix, Hulu, Youtube, Pandora and so many other channel options; it's like we've added a smart TV into that room. We love it!

I bought this in November, didn't hook it up until January. I am so mad at myself for not hooking it up sooner! I love this! This is an amazing product.
