ITS OK ,BUT VERY SLOW FOR ME. UNIT RUNS TOO HOT TO LEAVE IT PLUGGED IN AT ALL TIMES.

I bought this (roku 1) because I have a legacy TV in the dining room and need the RGB inputs. I have another Roku 2xd in the living room with a current flat screen which does have HDMI. Both the dining room and the living room are synced to the same subscriptions and do work well. Recently I have been wondering about cutting our cord with Satellite
TV as it is hard to justify the costs when we dont use it much. The main thing we still want current news sources which Roku does feature, and in my view really supply better what we need. apparently this is a fast moving industry and does appear to be the wave of the future and I am happy to see that Roku is very active in expanding their content for us.

great buy, for so much entertainment

I am highly satisfied with this buy, along with my blue-ray player it has provided endless entertainment for such a low cost. So simple to navigate and add features, many of them free, truly recommend to try it is the biggest bang for your buck.
