It's ok better than paying 100+ on cable

Bought this a few months ago. It's ok it tends to lag alot but it's ok. Wish there was MTV.

Great and convenient

I purchase my ROKU because I wanted to turn my flat screen into what is called a smart TV. I did just that, I have access to my favorite apps like Netflix, Hulu and Amazon prime. I am almost ready to fire my cable company because with these options I don't really even watch my cable channels. The only channels I still watch are my local news stations. Overall the device is awesome, I only had one issue that I later found out only took a simple fix. I was having an issue logging into Netflix and found that all I had to do was uninstall the Netflix app and add it back and it worked fine. I however was instructed by a ROKU rep to do all sorts of updates and check my cable connection by shutting off my wifi which I didn't have time for so I just told them I would call back. I however just researched online through Netflix and found that uninstalling the app should fix the problem and it did.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love this player, it gets the job done at a reasonable price. Has a lot of nice totally free features too!

Not as good as the streaming stick

I bought this for the kids to watch Netflix on. I didn't realize that I couldn't pull up the kids profile . I had to create a new profile for myself because it is stuck on mine.

I actually bought this from an online yard sale. I knew the person and was a little skeptical about it's performance as she had not had the Roku long. We enjoy it though and can play things when are Grandchildren are here and have things to watch for the variety of ages in the rest of our family.
