I was given the roku for my birthday about a month ago. I love it. I like that i can watch movies or old tv shows whenever i want. And it is so easy. It was easy to install too. I am turning my cable off. I am going to save a lot of money with the roku.

Best purchase Ever!

We started with the stick version and loved that, then found a deal on this version. We love it. It froze up briefly twice in the month we've had it, but cleared itself up. I personally could drop our DireTV altogether and opt just for the programming on Roku, but the rest of the family isn't ready for that. We watch mostly Netflix series and Amazon rentals with the Roku and couldn't be happier.

we got it about a month ago. just wish the netflix on it was as upto date as the computer netflix. there are not as many shows or movies on the roku.

Cheaper than satellite

Gave up satellite to save money. I wish seasons game on sooner and episodes didn't cost so much but that's not Roku's problem that's netflix and hulu and the other apps problem. We had to upgrade our Internet speed but that's still cheaper than satellite!

I bought a Roku for non-HD televisions and LOVE it!! Now, I can use my older TV to watch as many movies as I want to.
