OK i guess, you need a credit card to activate the ROKU...why? I activated then removed my credit card. I just wanted to watch Netflix on TV....

My daughter and son-in -law bought this for me a month ago and we, my husband and I love it! I have an Amazon Prime account and a Netflix and come April we are discontinuing our Direct TV account. We are paying for channels we don't even watch. So now we can filter what we want to watch. We can even get our local News! It was definitely worth the cost!

So happy I finally gave myself one for Christmas! I've wanted a Roku for a good while and now that I've used it, I see I was justified in wanting one. There's so much available and the hardest thing is choosing what to watch.

I bought the Roku in October 2015. Finally had time to hook it up in February or March. 2016.. Have not had much time to form an opinion. Have checked the news channels a couple of times.
I'm not very techie so have had to have some help from a neighbor to get it set up
