We purchased one many months ago for ourselves (Grandparents) When the kids came over a saw the shows available for them we had to buy 3 more . We cut the cable and with the purchase of these 4 streamers, one month of cable paid for all 4..Sad to see that the Other services do not get the message, but good for us and the kids.

My mom bought a Roku 1 and loves it. I bought a Roku 1 and cancelled cable! I love it! My kids love it! It shows well and there are so many awesome channels.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have the roku 2 and loved it so when I purchased the roku 1 and saw that I can plug it in with both cables and hdmi I was excited because I was going to put it in my kids room and when I did I noticed that roku one doesn't let u switch profiles. It only stays on the main users profile which is mine so now everything my kids watch stays saved on my profile which really bugged me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Problems with a lot of channels

Bought 3 and every single one has problems with different channels etc. Netflix Nickelodeon and many more
