I had. to reset very often to work I think is better apple That's way I don't like to get a risk to up date the model

I purchased Roku 1 about a month ago. It works fine, however , the unit is always warm or hot when using TV. You must be patient as it takes time to activate for SLING which I like for the costs and stations available. I may be purchasing the stick for outdoor use. I do not use the Roku stations, yet. Reviewing Roku purchases, seem a little high. Don't like the Sling commercial time out, music is annoying. Either switch stations or mute.

Thus far owning using hdmi the information home screen by-passed the signal determine a complete shutdown while remote activity remained active.

I bought this for watching several channels but it turns out that the only channel that really works is Netflix I downloaded 45 channels the rest wont load or keep loading even ones I paid for.
I would recommend this to a friend!
