Didnt meet my expectations

I was initially really excited about this product because it would allow me to stream content online content that I have previously used my laptop for. I currently use my Roku (about 40% of the time Im watching tv) along with my computer (the other 60% of the time Im watching tv) to stream content, because I find the Roku to be unreliable. The device tends to freeze from time to time and I have to restart it in order for it to work properly. I also wish this device had a quick on and off button.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

needs ability to play downloaded games from sony

I'm happy with my Roku. But I have a few suggestions the Roku needs, such as: Ability to play sony playstation and Microsoft xbox downloaded games. And needs more free ame apps.

I rented one thru a cable company for a few months and fell in love with it. After I moved to another town, I bought one to use in place of the cable company. Since then, I have shown and convinced all of my friends to get one. I like the channel selection that is available.

Roku was a godsend!!

After watching free antenna TV for 10 months it was well worth the price to get back into a real program source of entertainment without having to watch all the catheter, back and knee braces, and guaranteed acceptance life insurance commercials. They were driving me nuts. Thanks Roku for making TV enjoyable again!!
