I needed to use my standard TV, and wanted more to choose from than just over the air channels. So I bought a Roku 1, and it does allow me to watch many programs that I would miss out on otherwise. Roku 1 has proven to be a good choice once again!
I do have a Roku 2 and a Roku 3 that I use for TV's also. Really do enjoy having these Roku's! A great service to use for TV viewing for everyone without the high cost.

This is a great way to cut down on your cable. Only thing is I wish you could get local channels for free. But it's a minor.

Easy to set up

I love my Roku player. I had no trouble setting it up. When I 'lost' one of my stations, the support person was very patient in helping me 'find' it again. I get all of my favorite programs at times that I choose. What could be better!?!

I am sooooo pleased to be introduced to another source of television in the 21st century and it is easy on my pockets because cable wasn't easing my pockets at all so long cable and thank God for the creators of Roku
