As to be expected the Roku 1 is much slower than the other counterparts but then again its the only one that can play on my old TV I am very thankful for that! Crunchyroll is not working on it I keep getting Playback Error when I want to watch an Anime.

Step into Streaming

We've been cable free for a month now. The older tv (non HDTV) in our living room is streaming using the Roku 1. It was easy to set up and is working great!

I have a Roku 1 & 3 they work well, my Roku 4 does not many bugs. I have also owend a Roku 2 and stick and I have purchased many to give to family and friends. I have had a Roku for about 6 years starting with a Roku 2 XS.

Even though I have only the ROKU 1 my tv viewing has changed 200% to the better.I am very pleased that I bought the Roku, it has definitely made my life a little better.

I purchased the Roku 1 about 6 months ago and it was so easy to hook up to my older Panasonic TV that has no HDMI connection... this little box opened an entire new world of streaming entertainment that I couldn't get anywhere else... able to add all kinds of channel apps, learning apps, etc for free... Thank you Roku for making such a great product !
