Bought my first Roku 1 several mths ago bought my 2nd Roku1 40 days ago great way to cut cable cost better media packages than cable well worth the price and the apps continue to get better all the time Thanks

We have been using our Roku player for a little over month now. We have had issues with it freezing/retrieving the shows we try to watch during random times throughout the day. It gets very frustrating to have to deal with considering it can take us all evening to watch one episode of our favorite tv show. We ended up hooking a dvd player up instead.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

MONEY SAVER

I had been putting off buying a 2nd Roku player, and decided we needed another one for upstairs. WE DITCHED cable nearly 4 years ago, and invested in our 1st Roku player then. NEVER looked back. The #1 reason, Cost, #2, we hate commercials and not being able to decide on the content of what shows are on. In addition, our Roku has never cost nothing after the initial set up. No cable bills that keep going up every month.
I have told everyone about Roku, Forget the Dish, Satellites, and all the rest. Roku is the way to go.
Personally my family and I wonder why people would pay that much money for limited viewing. On Roku, you have access to 1000's of shows, with even more coming.
Who cares it takes awhile for them to come on, there is so much to choose from it doesn't matter.

Best purchase ever made......

I first bought the device to offset my disconnect from my cable company of 17 yrs. Was the best decision ever made. the choices of movies and TV shows is great , not to mention the ability to stream music. I have since purchased more devices for the family as gifts. They too, love it.
