I bought this product 1 month ago and am just getting to use it. A user guide would help. I bought it to use Netflex streaming service.

i love my roku 1, it has the connections for older TVs (composite connection)
and once i got PLEX to work i get all my movies and music and TV shows right off my PC and played on the TV. This is 10X better that what I had (ED LINE).

We Cut Cable With ROKU :-)

I bought my first Roku 3 years ago Winn Way decided to cut the cable. It was scary but a financial "have to" at the time. Over the air TV is much better with more chanels in recent years but we were concerned we'd miss access to the specialized TV we had with cable. The Roku has been wonderful! We have access to over 1700! channels and most of those we've chosen & want to see are free with a few exceptions like Netflix. Occasionally we go through a period where we have to reset it every few days. Not sure if this is because of our Wi-Fi or the Roku. Regardless, it eventually smooths out. I wish the search was less cumbersome or there was an affordable replacement remote with keyboard & speach. Overall we're so glad we found Roku. It has helped us cut the cable and only pay for programming we want. Our decision to go with OTA (over the air) & Roku was a good one. Anyone thinking of cutting the cable should get a Roku & try it. You can always go back to cable or satellite, but I'll bet you won't want or need to.

I bought these for my kids. They love them.so simple. Ivery had minenough forever. Wish they could choose a netflix profile instead of flipping through everything. Love the simple remote.

Being among the Elder Generation I found the Roku to be very easy to navigate and easy to read. I now have two in use and will be getting a third one as soon as the budget allows. I liked how easy it was to set up. Didn't have to wait for one of the grandchildren for assistance.
