Composite hookups and great features.

I got a Roku 2 when I purchased Sling TV and it was awesome! When I found out the Roku 1 could be used with my analog TV downstairs, I had to try it. I have been impressed with both, as well as Sling. It is much more adaptable than the Apple TV, and works with more channels.

This is the second Roku in my TV entertainment system. The first one was puurchased two years ago, recently I added a second smart TV to my system and immediately ordered this Roku.

Works with 30 year old tvs

We cut the chord being very dissatisfied with price and content of Directv. I know we should buy new tvs but these ancient models are still good besides it isn't easy to get rid of them. So we are the proud owners of three rokus. I am so happy getting my hulu, Netflix and Amazon prime.

Great for children!

I bought this about two months ago and I'm so happy I did! It's great for setting up channels that are for children and my kids love it and I do too because I don't have to worry about what their watching because I set the channels up and all they have to do is click the channel And pick which show they want to watch! It's wonderful! Glad I bought it!

Very Good Performance

Bought the Roku 1 originally, to use on old Emerson TV DVD combo in living room. Moved one night to Toshiba TV DVD in less than five minutes. Portability is a plus. Setup was a little trickier than I expected. Recommend use of a Mac or PC, to aid in initial setup. Oh, and the Auto Play feature on You Tube, works perfectly!

I was looking for an alternative to cable and satellite and decided to try Roku. With over 2000 channels to choose from I thought the selection would be endless. The truth is there are only a few free channels that are worth while. There's still no getting away from commercials. It's okay but I'm a little disappointed with the selection of free programs. The picture and sound quality is excellent.
