I really liked that it has all the apps it says it does and you can add more to it. Unlike all the blu rays claim. Just wish I didn't have to have cable or satellite to be able to watch local networks like Fox, Nbc, Abc and Cbs. I can get those with an antennae. I was hoping to catch up on some shoes. All though I doubt you have control over that.

Even works on old TVs

I have cable TV paid for by my Landlord, but I got a Roku 1 so I can watch Christian TV any time I want. What a blessing it is! Roku 1 is older technology & fewer bells & whistles than the newer ones, but is the only one that works on my old TV. It totally works! Faith Life Church and BVOVN are my favorites.

We were looking to save money on cable, so we ventured out to the tech side lol. We purchased a Roku 1 we have an older tv. We do like it, we have to be careful because it acually can run more then cable. We are happy to be able to enjoy the devise. Thank you

Excellent choice when hooking to an older T.V. with RCA jacks. The remote is easy to use. The channels are great and growing!

I bought the Roku 1 about a month and a half ago. So far it's an okay device. It sort of sucks when your using watching a movie and the wifi goes off when your watching a movie on either Netflix or Hulu or example. You have the exit the application and go all the way to the settings. It doesn't auto connect back to the wifi. You have to manually connect to the wifi. Other then that everything has been great!
