I bought this amoth and a half ago.great picture on hdmi,very good picture through composite cables(excellent for home recordings)wireless connection always clear,i like being able to control hulu through roku account
I would recommend this to a friend!

Declining performace & Doesn't work properly

I bought a Roku 1 when I cut the cable monopolies off. I initially liked it, but it performance went down quickly after 8 or so months. If I was watching a TV series with many episodes, it stopped automatically queuing up the next episode when the previous one finished. Then it would show that last viewed episode was the last in the series & that there were no more episodes. Then simply using the back button became an issue. The roku would go to the previous screen, but would not load it no matter how long one waited. Now,I have to push the home screen button & reload everything from the start to watch anything. This is very frustrating , particularly when watching something like hockey highlights. I've called Roku multiple times & tried everything suggestion they've come up with.The player continues to decline in performance. I will be buying a different manufacturers product in the near future.

Keeps freezing

I bought it about a month ago and uo until this last week I was happy with it, one movie I was watching it frooze up then started over many others it freezes and I have to fast forward to get it to work

Works with the Harmony hub

this product works great with The harmony hub. With the remote control, it allows you to choose Roku channels, such as HBO Showtime Amazon etc. I did not find this possible with the Amazon fire stick and replaced it with a Roku. Now my Airbnb customers are able to use a very simple remote control.
I would recommend this to a friend!
