Great, if you live alone

This worked pretty well when i was alone, but as soon as even one more person got on the internet then it was a major problem. Hulu never worked on it, and everything else worked so slowly it took an hour to watch a 20 some odd mins episode of a show. not so happy with this device.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was going broke with the ever perpetually increasing cost of cable/satellite without any commensurate improvement in entertainment, news and knowledge. ROKU answered my prayers. Although I have not mastered the device and its potential, I was sufficiently impressed with ROKU that I purchase a ROKU specific Smart TV because the ones without ROKU we're only smart enough to scam me for my money. Thank you ROKU for coming to the rescue.

I think Roku really "ROCKS", I love it but there is one channel missing that I really wish you guys would get, "TV-LAND"............PLEASE get it

Buy the Roku 4

We bought the Roku 4 & were happy with it, so we decided to buy the Roku 1 for a tv that doesn't get half as much use. The 1 is so slow! Dont waste your money, buy the Roku 4, it is much faster & easier.

As a senior, and a newbie,I find the Roku user unfriendly, IE: that the remote does not offer the direct access that tv remotes do. Also, I'll be watching a program and during commercial, it freezes and I have to go to home and restart the process.
