love the programming options

I first purchased the ROKU stick.. very easy to use, but it got very, very hot! I'd have to unplug it when not in use. Very inconvenient. So I exchanged it for a ROKU 1. The programming is not as easy as the stick to run through. The unit still gets warmer than I think it should, but I keep it on a raised candleholder that keeps it suspended without much contact around it, and that helps. I wish they had some air vent holes in the case.
I would recommend this to a friend!

MY TELEVISION IS AN OLDER FLAT SCREEN MODEL. I NEEDED THE ROKU 1 , FOR THIS REASON. THE SIGNAL IS CONSTANTLY LOST AND IT FREEZES MULTIPLE TIMES WHEN I AM WATCHING PROGRAMS. TAKES AWAY THE ENJOYMENT OF WATCHING EVEN THE NEWS.

Simple to use, happy with product. The only thing I don't like is that is asks if I am still watching and I have to look for the remote to continue. I have already recommended to several friends.

Have had several months and only issue is freezes on TWC, which TWC software gives message that it works best with roku 2 or higher. So I would recommend buying faster Roku

I own both Roku 1 [for the second TV] and the Roku 3. I wouldn't ever think of purchasing any other streaming device.

I've had a roku before but the upgraded on ive just got is OK but it sometimes tends to cut off. By this I mean on certain channels it'll cut whatever I'm watching off. With warning message saying no video available or playback unavailable but it is a good device
